Business Connector for YouTube

Upload the videos and Shorts you made to your own channel at the time you choose, and see how they perform.

An illustration. YouTube shows the exact wording when you press Connect, and nothing is shared until you choose Allow.

What it does for you

  1. Post when you choose

A video you added and scheduled is uploaded with the title, description and visibility you picked.

  2. See how it did

Where switched on: views, watch time, retention and traffic sources for videos posted from your dashboard.

  3. Comments

Read comments on your videos, and post a reply or first comment only when you write it or set the rule that sends it.

What it can see, and what it never will.

Each part is requested only when you switch that feature on.

With your permission

  • Your channel's name, handle and ID
  • Videos you post through Business Connector
  • Statistics and comments, only if that feature is on

Never

  • Your other Google services
  • Videos on channels you didn't connect
  • Sending YouTube data to any AI provider
  • Posting anything you didn't add and schedule

Data received through YouTube API Services is never sent to an artificial-intelligence provider. By connecting a channel you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.

Switch YouTube off whenever you like. The stored access is deleted the moment you do.

The exact permissions

For reviewers and the curious: the permissions requested, the data each one reaches, and why.

  1. From your dashboard

Open Connections and press Disconnect next to YouTube. The stored access is deleted immediately.
